Playtest Initiative

Break the Grid.
Help Us Build It.

We are looking for sharp minds to join the MineGrid Studio testing phase. Your mission: uncover logic flaws, test hidden danger zones, and refine the core puzzle mechanics before our global release.

The QA Pipeline

Our structured approach to ensuring the logic engine never fails the player.

01

Alpha Verification

Internal testing focused entirely on the core ruleset. We verify that all number tiles accurately reflect adjacent danger zones and that win states trigger correctly under isolated conditions.

02

Closed Beta

Invited playtesters explore generated grids of varying difficulties. The focus shifts to UX clarity, flagging mechanics, and ensuring the interface communicates state changes without ambiguity.

03

Stress & Edge Cases

Testing massive grid sizes (up to 99x99) and rapid input processing. We ensure the sweep algorithm performs flawlessly without dropping frames on mobile or low-end hardware.

Crafting the Perfect Bug Report

In a logic puzzle, precision is everything. When you encounter unexpected behavior, a detailed report allows our engineering team to replicate and resolve the issue swiftly.

  • A Provide the Seed: Every grid is procedurally generated from a seed value. Providing this exact string is crucial for recreation.
  • B Visual vs. Logic: Clearly state if a tile rendered incorrectly (visual) or if a number failed to accurately tally adjacent mines (logic).
  • C Screenshot the Board: A full screenshot of the playfield immediately before the error occurred provides vital context.

Random Field Testing

Our procedural generation engine creates millions of unique grid combinations. We rely on testers to play through these random fields to ensure that every generated puzzle remains solvable through logic, without ever forcing a blind guess.

Interface Testing

A flawless logic puzzle requires a flawless interface. We need feedback on the responsiveness of tile clicks, the clarity of the flag icons, and the readability of the clean number tiles across different screen sizes and devices.

Enlist in the Beta

We selectively invite players based on device variety, puzzle experience, and testing availability. If you enjoy dismantling logic systems and providing structured feedback, we want you on the grid.
